The Deep River Symphony Orchestra is a community orchestra with 40 local musicians ranging in age from high school students to seniors. The orchestra began in 1952 to give community members the opportunity to play orchestral works with other amateur musicians from the local area, under the leadership of an experienced orchestral conductor. Currently, our Music Director is Peter Morris. It is under his tutelage over the past 20+ years that the DRSO has continued to thrive. We are in our 71st season, which makes us one of the longest-standing community orchestras in Canada.
The DRSO is always looking for musicians! If you are interested, please contact Peter at 613-584-4264. We would love to hear from you.
